Tamil award for Telugu music director

The major weakness of Telugus is that they won't realise the greatness of our own Telugu person. When others shower compliments on a Telugu person, then we start drumming that he is none other than our Telugu man.

This was proved twice in case of noted music director Vidyasagar. This great music director scored music for 'Swarabhishekam' directed by K Viswnath and bagged an award at national level from the Union government.

Till then we did not realise the greatness of Vidyasagar. Now, the Tamil Nadu government had announced the prestigious 'Kalaimamani' award to Vidyasagar, who was a Telugu man, for his services to the art.

Besides, Vidyasagar, heroine Trisha and Pita Magan ('Siva Putrudu' in Telugu) director Bala, young hero Simbu were also selected for this award.
