Manisharma's show at Chicago a hit

'Melody Brahma' Manisharma needs no introduction. He and his troupe gave an exciting performance at Chicado on June 29, which is said to have been a very huge success.

Manisharma is incredibly humble, modest and unassuming and spoke to music lovers in person. Despite being credited with having given a new dimension to Telugu music, he never feels that he was a star musician. "Music speaks, statements do not," he says. His inspirational, infectious songs earned him worldwide fans and praise in Andhra Pradesh. On a special note he mentioned his team will rock this time at TANA and visitors will have a special show.

The true perfectionist in Manisharma was found when he worked from 10 am to 7 pm on June 29 without food in order to get cent per cent perfect sound acoustics before the show organised by Devi Jewellers, Ruchi Foods and SoftPros.com and was coordinated by Anuradha, Neil Mudigonda, Sanjay Thumma and Ravi Shankar Vadhri.

For the first time in the history of Chicago and USA such a huge Telugu music show was organised and the event proved a mega success. Irrespective of long weekend holidays and summer vacation for Indian families, the turnover was huge and Chicago never saw such a huge crowd of 2,000-odd music lovers. The show was organised on Friday without break and the audiences glued to their seats for 4 hours of non-stop music.

Manisharma show was electrifying and mind blowing. He enthralled the audience with his latest music numbers from Indra, Tagore, Khushi, Pokiri, Okkadu, Narasimha Naidu etc.

Comedian Sunil performed dance numbers for songs and was a special attraction of the music show. This is Sunil's first visit to the US and the TANA. He thanked the audience and the organisers. He mentioned that he would cherish the special love given by Chicago crowd. Mimicry artiste Harikishna's Jurassic Park comedy was a highlight.

Gangadhar introduced Manisharma and his technicians to the cheering crowd.

Karunya, Mallikarjun, Vinod Babu, Gangadhar, Sunitha, Usha and Vijayalakshmi with their enchanting voices completely took away the audiences to a different world.

Sai and Karthik on drums, Chinna, Saagar on keyboard, Raghava on sound mixing and Vinod on guitar enthralled the audience with their coordination.Music lovers were captivated with the Sound provided by Neil Mudigonda.

Every song was applauded and the crowd was uncontrollable with dances and whistles. Manisharma and his team got a standing ovation for their music and fast beats.
