Jiah Khan to play in 'Kantri' of NTR

Young Tiger NT Ramarao is going to play hero in a film, 'Kantri' to be produced by Chalasani Aswanidutt on the banner of Vyjayanti Movies under the debut direction of Meher Ramesh, with Hansika Motwani playing the female lead.

Popular Bollywood heroine Jiah Khan is playing another heroine's role in this movie. Jiah Khan came to the limelight with 'Nissabdh' directed and produced by Ramgopal Varma in Hindi.

Director of the film Meher Ramesh, though new to the Telugu film industry, had proved himself as a successful director by directing 'Okkadu and Andhrawala' remake films in Kannada.

It is worth mentioning here that the Telugu version of 'Andhrawala' was proved a dud, but was a hit in Kannada. The film would go to sets after the release of 'Yamadonga', the latest project of NTR.
