'Pokiri' achieves yet another record

Presented by Smt Indira Devi, directed and produced by versatile director Puri Jagannath on the banner of Vaishno Academy, 'Pokiri' with Prince Mahesh Babu and Ileana in the lead had already broken several Box Office records and rewrote the history of 75-year-old Telugu cinema in a never before manner.

The film had already created new records of celebrating 50 days in 300 centres, 100 days in 200 centres and 175 days in 63 centres. Besides the film had achieve another record.

'Pokiri' was screened in Bhagiratha Theatre in Kurnool for 500 days at a stretch at the rate of four shows per day and collected Rs 60 lakhs share.

At a time, when screening of a film for 100 days in itself is said to be a major achievement, running of 'Pokiri' for 500 days in a single theatre proves how popularity the film got among the audiences.
