James Cameroon inspires MS Raju
MusicMazaa.com ( January 7, 2008 )
That MS Raju's directorial debut is a remake of Kannada film is no secret. 'Vaana' is all set to release on January 15 and the producer-turned-director says that though the film is a remake, it has been changed a bit to suit the tastes of the Telugu audience.
He is not particularly anxious about directing a remake for his first venture. In fact, he points out that James Cameroon too had made Titanic that was made three times earlier in Hollywood.
But people only remember Cameroon's Titanic today, he adds. Finally, he is very happy that he has chosen a subject that would touch the hearts of the audience, just like it touched his when he first watched it.
