Ram Gopal Varma keeps his promise, to make 'Gaali'

Ram Gopal Varma vowed never to make Telugu films following criticism over the making of Govinda Govinda. Then, when he was in Hyderabad for the press conference of 'Sarkar 1', he said he would soon make a Telugu film, though he did not specify exactly when.

Now, as per the tinsel ville grapevine, Jagapati Babu will be playing the lead role in Gaali being made by Varma in Telugu. Apparently, the film'€™s shooting would begin once Jagapati Babu'€™s Homam is wrapped up.

Since it was RGV who had given the role of his life time in 'Gaayam', Jagapati Babu is now returning the favour by acting in 'Gaali', post the debacle of Varma'€™s 'Aag'.
