Venu Madhav to contest from Kamalapur?

The PCC president D Srinivas is now meeting leaders' form the various constituencies to which by polls are being held on May 29.

The congress party is taking the contest very seriously and wants to prove that the separate Telangana sentiment is not as strong as being claimed by the TRS chief K Chandrasehakar Rao.

The name of well known comedian Venu Madhav is being heard prominently in connection with the Kamalapur constituency in Karimnagar district. D Srinivas sounded Venu Madhav and he is reportedly ready to fight the polls on the congress ticket.

Venu Madhav is a native of Kodad in Nalogonda district. He began his career by working for the late TDP leader Yeliminati Madhava Reddy.

Venu Madhav slowly started off with stage shows and mimicry performances before ending up in Tollywood. He is now a very busy and popular comedian in the industry.

The name of Jeevita, wife of actor Rajashekar is being heard prominently to fight for Congress from the Musheerabad constituency in Hyderabad.
