'Mallanna' shoots in Mexico

The film unit of the Tamil film 'Kandasami' directed by Susi Ganeshan and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu on the banner of V Creations, with Vikram and Shriya in the lead, is all set to leave for Mexico for a one-month schedule there. The film is also being made in Telugu as 'Mallanna' simultaneously.

The Super Star Krishna is playing a special role in 'Mallanna'.

Speaking on the occasion Vikram says, 'It is a film with a touch of social awareness. My character in this film will have different shades. I played with different get-ups in this flick. Almost all the get-ups would attract and enthrall the audiences.'

On the occasion, Vikram reveals that he had floated a voluntary organization called Vikram Foundation and set up Kashi Eye Bank as part of it. Vikram had donated both his eyes to the bank. Looking at his initiative, over 1,000 fans of Vikram also came forward to donate their eyes and submitted the necessary forms to the Kashi Eye Bank.

Vikram says, 'I played a visually challenged in a film called Kashi. Hence I named our eye bank after that character.'
