'King' begins shoot

The shooting of a film directed by Sreenu Vaitla and produced by Siva Prasada Reddy on the banner of Kamakshi Kala Movies was formally launched with a simple function at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad on April 30, away from the publicity blitzkrieg.

Akkineni Nageswara Rao gave the clap, while Smt Amala switched on the camera for the muhurat shot.

'King' is the title under consideration for the movie.

Trisha is pairing up with Nagarjuna in this flick. Devisri Prasad is scoring music. Sources in Film Nagar say that the film would be a hilarious entertainer.

Presently, Sreenu Vaitla is busy giving final touches for 'Ready' with Ram of Devadasu fame as hero. The regular shooting of 'King' is most likely to begin from May 20.
