Simran’s debut in Telugu Small Screen

The Telugu entertainment channel Maa TV, attemptes to redefine fiction through a serial of short stories, titled '€˜Simran Marapurani Kathalu'€™. This will be on air from 26th May'€™2008, and telecasted every day from Monday to Thursday, in 8:30pm to 9:00pm slot (prime slot).
Pyramid Saimira Production International Services Ltd is the production house of this series. Maa Television Network Ltd is joining hands in its telecast.
The most significant aspect is popular actress Simran is making her debut into the Telugu television industry with '€˜Simran Marapurani Kathalu'€™.
Unlike the regular long drawn soaps in small screen, '€˜Simran Marapurani Kathalu'€™ chronicles small stories. Each story is made into 20 episodes; and every story will be directed by a prominent director. Thus, approximately every month a new story will be telecasted. The lead role will be played by '€˜Simran'€™ in the whole series.
Speaking on the occasion Mr Thammareddy Bhardwaj, Head Content (AP), PSPIL, stated that the series will add freshness to the small screen, and expressed happiness to be associated with Maa TV for its telecast.
Mrs Shubha Venkat, Head Content (National) PSPIL; and Mr Sharrath Marar, Chief Executive Officer, Maa Television Network Ltd. also spoke to the press on the occation.
