Prabhu Deva, Lawrence: Taking the same steps

They came from Tamil, and now they are back at them.

There seems to be many parallels between Prabhu Deva and Lawrence.

Both, as is well known, started as dance assistants. They, through the dint of their hard work, became top-notch dance masters. They also dabbled in acting.

Finally they both ended up as directors in Telugu.

Interestingly, Lawrence was a dance assistant in Prabhu Deva's team before.

Now they are hugely successful directors. Prabhu Deva announced his arrival through NVNV. His Pournami, though not a big hit, underscored his ability.

Now Prabhu Deva, is in Tamil directing Vijay in the remake of Pokiri.

Lawrence who has remarkably followed suit whatever Prabhu Deva has done is highly sought after masala movie director.

His Mass with Nagarjuna and then Style with himself in the lead have been big hits.

Style is also being dubbed as Lakshyam in Tamil.

Meanwhile, Lawrence himself has committed to a do Tamil movie. Muni, his new directorial venture, will have him, Raj Kiran and Vedika in the leads.

So the story is: two dance masters, but similar steps.
