Competition heats up

This month, as we were the first to write, will be tepid in terms of competition at the box office.

But the month of April promises plenty of edge-of-the-seat entertainment and excitement.

April will see many movies being launched.

Among the many, the most intriguing of clashes would be between four of the most promising young brigade in the industry.

And the four who will be in full-fledged combat are Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, NTR Junior and Prabhas.

The four, make no mistake about it, are darlings of the masses. Their recent films may have or may not have done well. But they are real crowd pullers. They are actors with a huge fan base.

So their clash at the box office will ensure plenty of fireworks.

Mahesh Babu has Pokiri. NTR Junior has Ashok. Pawan has Bangaram. Prabhas has Pournami.

As films go, they are as big as anything.

Made by big banners and marquee directors, the promise is plenty.

So this April if you see the mercury shooting up, it may also be due to the heat of the competition in Tollywood.
