Dr Ramineni Foundation announces awards for 2006

Dr Ramineni Foundation used to extend awards in the form of one 'Visishta Puraskar' and three Visesha Puraskars.

As part of these awards, senior artiste and heroine of yesteryears Anjali Devi is being presented the 'Visesha Puraskar' at the convention centre of Hotel Mariotte, Hyderabad.

This was disclosed by AVS, Ramineni, committee members Vedacharya Ramineni and VV Rao at a press conference held at Taj Residency.

Dr Ramineni Ayyanna Choudary is the founder of the foundation, while Dharma Pracharak Ramineni is the chairman, AVS is the convener, and M Chitranjan, vice-president, corporate affairs, ITC Group, Vasiraju Prakasam, V Mohana Rao, Vedacharya Ramineni, VV Rao are the members. Dr GN Rao, founder of LV Prasad Eye Institute, K Ramachandra Murthy, editor, Andhra Jyothy daily, Dr BV Patta Bhiram, magician and hypnotist are the members of the awards committee.
