Aamir Khan Ka Aur Ek Oscar Endeavor

If you are well versed with Cliff Richard's 'Congratulations and Celebrations', sing it cheerfully for Aamir Khan. Yippee! Aamir adds one more feather to his cap with his debut directorial 'Taare Zameen Par' moving into Oscars. Released on December 21, 2007, the film won accolades across the far-flung corners of the globe for its universal theme. With Amole Gupta penning the script, Aamir Khan spelled his trenchant piece of work as a director as well performer.

For the finest appraisal, Aamir introduced a great actor Darsheel Safary, who carried entire film on his shoulders. Well, the other star-casts Tisca Chopra, Vipin Sharma and Sachet Engineer delivered their splendid performance. The film has won enormous awards this year for various categories of Best film, Best Direction, Best story, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress and more.

Speaking with high-spiritedness, Aamir says that he was so elated that TZP is representing India at Oscars, one of the World's best Awards that one can dream for catching it. Also adds that as a parent and an individual, the film was so close to his heart and indeed had the same impression on all the audiences.

9 Indian movies were contending for the Oscar nomination of 6 Bollywood movies, 2 Marathi Movies and one from Telugu. A Wednesday, Jodha Akbar, Mumbai Meri Jaan, Rock On and Black & White; Marathi films Tingya and Valu along with Telugu movie Gamyam made up for contests.

Suneel Darshan, Chair person, Film Federation of India along with the committee members found difficult to choose the best one. However, Taare Zameen Par for its universal theme for everyone's choice.

Aamir Khan was bit disappointed during last time in Oscars for his Lagaan didn't make up for triumph in the category of Best Foreign Film.

Well, musicmazaa conveys its heartiest congratulations to Aamir Khan and wish the film may win hit bull's eyes at Oscars.
