101 Weddings Review

After Venicile Vyapaari , Shafi has came back with his new movie 101 Weddings starring Kunchacko Boban,Jayasurya, Biju Menon, Samvrutha Sunil, and Bhama in the lead roles. 101 Weddings is a romantic comedy film set against the backdrop of a mass marriage ceremony organised by the women welfare organization where 101 weddings are set to take place at one platform.
The story starts when the couples are asked to stay at the cottage to attend a pre-marital counselling session.

The film revolves around 3 people Krishnankutty (Kunchacko Boban), Jyothishkumar (Jayasurya), and Antappan (Biju Menon) who became friends in a difficult situation, even though they have different mannerisms.
Krishnankutty is a handsome con artist, where as Jyothish kumar is an Indian classical dance master. Antappan is a rowdy who was arrested for a forgery made by Krishnankutty. 101 weddings show the funny events that took place when these three characters come together.

Kunchacko Boban, Jayasurya and Biju Menon had handled their roles very beautifully. The characters played by Salim Kumar and Suraj venjaramoodu create many good memorable comedies in the film. The movie is written by Kalavoor Ravikumar and produced by Shafi’s brother Rafi of the Rafi-Mecartin’. Altogether 101 weddings is a good movie with an average script.
