Chilli Bean Soup
Ingredients :
- Tomatoes 900 gms 162 cal
- Onion 1 no 21 cal
- Capsicum 1 no 25 cal
- Spring Onion 3 nos 32 cal
- Baked Beans 220 gms 332 cal
- White Sauce 3 tbsp 1103 cal
- Sugar 3 tbsp 143 cal
- Chilli Sauce 1/2 tbsp 6 cal
- Oil 2 tbsp 270 cal
- Salt to taste 0 cal
Method :
1.
Cut the spring onions with half the leaves into small pieces.
2.
Keep aside one whole tomato. Cut the rest into big pieces, add 5 teacups of water and cook. When cooked, take out a soup by passing through a sieve.
3.
Chop the remaining tomato.
4.
Heat the oil in a vessel and fry the onion for 1 minute. Add the capsicum and spring onions and fry for 2 minutes.
5.
Add the tomato soup and boil for 10 minutes.
6.
Add the chopped tomato, baked beans, white sauce, sugar, chilli sauce and salt and cook for a few minutes.
7.
Serve hot with grated cheese and chilli sauce.
