Chicken Tikka Masala
Ingredients :
- Yogurt 1 cup cal
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp 3.5 cal
- Ground cumin 2 tsp 30 cal
- Ground cinnamon 2 tsp cal
- Cayenne pepper 2 tsp 23.6 cal
- Black pepper 2 tsp 22.4 cal
- Minced fresh ginger 1 tsp 3.28 cal
- salt 4 tsp 0 cal
- Skinless chicken breasts 3 boneless 280 cal
- Skewers 4 long cal
- Butter 1 tsp 29 cal
- Garlic 1 clove 4 cal
- Pepper 1 jalapeno cal
- Ground cumin 2 tsp 30 cal
- Paprika 2 tsp 11.8 cal
- salt 3 tsp 0 cal
- tomato sauce 1 (8 ounce) 78 cal
- heavy cream 1 cup 821 cal
- fresh cilantro 1/4 cup 1 cal
Method :

In a large bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, 2 teaspoons cumin, cinnamon, cayenne, black pepper, ginger, and 4 teaspoons salt.

Stir in chicken, cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Preheat a grill for high heat.

Lightly oil the grill grate.
5.
Thread chicken onto skewers, and discard marinade.
6.
Grill until juices run clear, about 5 minutes on each side.
7.
Melt butter in a large heavy skillet over medium heat.
8.
Saute garlic and jalapeno for 1 minute. Season with 2 teaspoons cumin, paprika, and 3 teaspoons salt.
9.
Stir in tomato sauce and cream.
10.
Simmer on low heat until sauce thickens, about 20 minutes.
11.
Add grilled chicken, and simmer for 10 minutes.
12.
Transfer to a serving platter, and garnish with fresh cilantro.
