Honey Fried ChickenIngredients :

  • Chicken 1 (4 pound) 187 cal
  • Salt To taste 0 cal
  • Pepper To taste cal
  • Honey 1/2 cup 515 cal
  • Garlic powder 1 tsp cal
  • Chicken bouillon granules 1 packet cal
  • Purpose flour 2 cups cal
  • Vegetable oil for frying 1 quart cal

Honey Fried ChickenMethod :

1.
Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper, then coat each seasoned chicken piece with honey.

2.
In a shallow dish or bowl, mix together the garlic powder, chicken bouillon granules and flour.

3.
Dredge honey coated chicken pieces in flour mixture, coating completely.

4.
Fill a large, heavy skillet with oil to a depth of one inch.

5.
Heat over medium-high heat.

6.
Fry chicken for at least 5 minutes per side, until no longer pink and juices run clear.
